Margaret Hamilton was born in Paoli Indiana. She was born on August 17th, 1936. She is still alive today. In 1955, Margaret went to the University of Michigan. Shortly after, she transferred to Earlham College, where she finished school in 1958. She mainly studied mathematics. Margaret is most known of for creating the term, "software engineer", and developing the navigation systems for the Apollo aircraft.
